Taken late autumn afternoon on the road from Denver to Grand Junction ( Colorado ). It was the curvature of the road and the low narrow band of light that appealed. Quick shot from car window was all I had time for

Thanks folks. One of those shots where "right place, right time" makes all the difference. Light passing through a gap in the mountains highlighted the trees etc but left most of the mountainsides in shadow. ( Although time shows as 10.24pm that's GMT on the camera - knock 5 or 6 hours back for local time )
