Thanks to those who commented and voted on my previous upload "Autumn Evening" and to Dave (WhiteRose1) and Willie (Banehawi) for their suggestions.

Well framed by the trees, Cliff, and the layers of shade and light make a beautiful image.

Lovely light and the snowy peak with autumnal foliage is sumptuous. I like the way the pines frame the view. Being formative, I might have tried a portrait version and lower to the ground to include more FG interest and depth but then I'm a fan of portrait landscapes so that may just be my biased view! The shadows on the heather do supply depth it's just the lack of detail in the heather that's making me suggest a portrait format I think. Great image irrespective! ![]()
Surely the prettiest glen in all of Scotland and nicely shown here Bill. I've been here a few times but never stayed, lack of places for accommodation was always the problem for me. Maybe I should have bought that camper I always fancied.

With great light and colours to die for this is a stunning capture in anyones eyes, excellent work Cliff.
