I know it's a natural background but on first viewing it looks too strong. That's not a criticism, rather more to do with what we 'expect' to see Smile
But it works and it's nice to see something different.
Beautifully captured, though.

I like that warm background, sets the kestrel off really well. Beautiful details in the plumage and nice light in the eye.
