I don't know what tree these leaves were on, but I liked the light shining through them. I found them at Merriments, my local garden centre yesterday in late afternoon light.
Thanks for looking and for any comments and/or criticisms - does it "matter" about that light bokeh on the right?

Fantastic shot Ann, I love the colours, textures and the dof is perfect.

The light bokeh is what attracted me to the shot in the thumbnails, Ann. Lovely tones in the leaves and the translucence makes the veins stand out. A fine image.

Such a bueatiful image - well done and well spotted. I think that the light to the right of the subject is fine as it adds depth to the image and as its well blurred out it does not detract from the main subject.
This is just wonderful Ann, and no - nothing needs to be changed. You've captured loads of detail, the bokeh sets the tones and the colours, and the depth of field is spot on.

Exquisite shot !!!.....wonderful quality with a lovely 'aura', helped by the blurred hi-lights......don't change 'em, they're an important component
