Works very well as an abstract, did you try any other shutter speeds to see what effect they had (i.e. slower shutter speed to soften the ripples a bit more)?

I was on my bicycle and did not have a tripod with me to be able to use a slower shutter speed......and I wanted the ripples.

Gorgeous, abstract painting effect to my eye - contrasts so well with the 'looser' water effect of number 3. This is my second favourite after number 3. Spicy colours really strong. Great.Smile

Love this series, of which this is my favourite. If it were mine, I would take a tiny bit off the top and then print it up LARGE and hang it on the wall Smile
