A most attractive autumn Lakeland scene.
I have offered a mod......hope you don't mind......I did not want to do anything to detract from what is basically a very nice shot, but I have made the overall effect just a little bit 'punchier'. Not sure if you will approve or not.
Ronnie.

I am offering a view as a member of joe public. I have to as my photography skills are pretty appalling.

I am struggling with this image as i don't know what i'm supposed to be looking at. Is the main subject the water, trees, mountains? I find my eyes wandering all over the image to find what is trying to be conveyed.

It is a nice scenic image though.

I'm no expert on landscapes but I do think that this has quite a lot going for it. There's a load of detail in there and it's well composed and focused.

I've uploaded a mod. in which I've simply applied curves using the threshold method. The difference isn't huge but it does lift it just a bit.

Hope it's OK.

Bren.
