Ava was back for a weekend, she has grown, matured and calmed.
Here's a quiter moment,,Ava.
I should mention that this was a shot from the hip,,she was lying quite, the camera was on the counter,

Oh I have done a selective colouring on her eyes,if you have time View Large,,love her eyes.

THANKS AS EVER FOR YOUR TIME AND INTEREST IN WHAT I HAVE SEEN.

Aidan,,

I think you have done a very nice job in capturing Ava so well with good focus on the eyes in particular. I do rather like the selective colouring of the eyes in an otherwise B and W image. The only thing I might mention is that the cropping has shaved off the very top of her head which is a pity.
Ronnie.

Quote: The monochrome treatment works here, even with the small 'photo popping', but unfortunately you have chopped off the top of Ava's head in oder to allow your large border complete with horrible text. Give the poor dog the space your logo and her name are unimportant in the scheme of things. It is said 'A picture is worth a thousand words', if you need to add some I guess you have failed.

Give Ava more space on top and please clone out the ugly blotch above her left shoulder.

Frank

No,1 the tight crop doesnt exsist its what I ended having on the camera with nothing to play with,
2,somthing I didnt notice until I had uploaded and someoen pointed it out,,,,oop's.
3, txt,,ugly,,possibly,,
It sounds as if it has pissed you off Frank, sorry about that, lol but I do take your points on board.I think I might go and have another play with it.

Cheers Aidan,

Hello, Aidan. Ava poses beautifully, and this is a fine portrait of her. In my modification, I have tried to address the problem of the cut-off head by adding canvas to the top. I also extended the left-hand background to eliminate the black patch, and cloned out the mark middle-right.
