Another bit of photo-art inspired by the Arthurian Legends of Avalon ,featuring the Chalice Well which lies at the foot of Glastonbury Tor and reputed to be the resting place of the Holy Grail.

This is how I like to think it would have looked when magic and mystery were part of everyday life.

The wood comes from images of Puzzle Wood in the Forest of Dean , often visited by Tolkien and believed to be inspiration for some of the forests of Middle earth.

Puzzlewood is a fantastic place but somewhat bewildering to get out of. The number of times we were asked "is this the way out?" for us to reply "we're lost too".

Reminds me of some of your work from Mull Angela, I've looked closely across this image expecting to see a wrayj like figure, but it's hanging just out of sight I'm sure.

Thankyou so much guys, glad you like it. Alas Dougie I don't get the time to create like I did on Mull....but just now and again the inspiration wins through normal life Smile
