Not much to say about these cormorants posing in Whitby except that they make very good comedians.
Version 1: 300mm, 1/320th sec. @ f8, +1.0 EV;
Version 2: 300mm, 1/100th sec. @ f8; both ISO 200.
I especially like the conductor in the centre!

Two great images Bill. I like V2 alot, but V1 is my favourite. I love the structure you have also captured here.
looks like the 4 birds from the Disney film THE JUNGLE BOOK.....
Two super images.
Both are very good and I wouldnt like to pick one
Like V1 here Bill,
Great use of tones Bill.
lovely photographs Bill
Two great images bill, V1 my favourite great pose ,well captured bill regards
V1 is wonderful.....He looks like a preacher expounding on the sloth of the masses
...well seen and captured...like them both...maybe v1 for me
Symmetric, asymmetric I like v 1 best--- VERY WELL SEEN!
Yes V1 has a special quality. Works very well
V1 suggests that someone built a performing stage for them Beautifully composed fun shot.
And what a wonderful ''perch'' the birds have here !!!
Prefer No1 as the whole perch is on view, with the wood and rusty metal.Interesting to note how the cormorants hold the higher ground here over the gulls.A nice addition they make among the wood, metal and rust.Good take and good spot Bill.
Yeah I prefer V1 too. Like the "symmetry".
excellent composition Bill
Good duo Bill, V1 for me as well.
Well done for getting those wings spread Bill. Bet you waited for hours.
I like v2 bill... soem perfromers and may be audience...? its the fantastic framing I like the best
V1 for me Bill.
2 super images
Two wonderful captures Bill, but I go for V1 for that great wooden structure....the birds are good too.
Either he is an opera singer, or he wants to embrace the whole world...
well seen Bill, great poser,
Always seem to be sat on that railing no matter what time you are there.
Have a good weekend.
Wow ! Nicely composed Bill ! The one with the out-streached wings is the icing on the cake for me.
Great shot Bill; I like the way the sea blends with the sky and the symettry of the shot; an obviously pecking order, but odd to see a seagull crowing
