Another shot with the canon - thanks Lillian - through glass, at the end of a lovely day at Paradise Park in December.
A shame its not in the wild, but at least I took a few shots.

good use of - EC to stop whites from 'blowing' - although of course if using spot metering you have to be aware that if taking a measurement from the white areas then the camera will already be calculating what it believes to be the correct shutter speed for that area and as such -EC could under-expose. personally i find it better to use one method or the other.
also, consider whether the horizontal line above the subject is a distraction or not - it's your image so only your opinion truly matters
