Impressive sculpture, with realistic detail and facial expression, especially near the area of the eyes. The face belongs to a pilot of the WWII if I am not mistaken.

I appreciate that you have shot it in black and white, it gives a retro feeling, exactly as the pictures at the time would showed him.

I may had opted for another format though, or would had made a step backwards to include clearly a part or a bigger part of his goggles.

Thanks pablophotographer, yes you are right it is the face of a pilot. I did try various formats and have several shots of the whole head including goggles etc., but this shot really stood out for me, i don't know why, i just prefer it to all the others, although one of the main reasons, is the background!
