GO LARGE for Xtra eerieness
long exposure 63 secs. f11, 10mm, ISO 200, remote used lightpainted with a torch, late at night, empty barn, no lights or electricity, pouring with rain, lots of spiders ....no layers in PS, just minor adjustments
Thanks as always
I like this very much, very imaginative. but with an eery tone.
Love your PF.
Agree with Campbell-- somber, an unusual take on the empty nest-- disturbing!
Well done and thought about!
I like this very much.
This is the gloomiest empty nest portrait I've ever seen I like it loads Diana. Great imaginative shot.
Fantastic. I love it.
ditto anne!! very eerie
Great imaginative shot Dianna, god you work hard for your art..
excellent this one Diana, very well done
Very nice work Diana, you have created a real atmospheric image. brill
Brilliant Diana - pure genius.
Thanks I am so pleased you like this, I really enjoyed doing it last night even though it was cold and scary in the barn, just processing....feelings not images .....
It is not easy sitting still for over a minute
and Bruce I can't thank you enough for your very precious User Award..
superb Di , processing feelings , not images , way to go , bang bang !
Quality gloominess , and shortlisted
I love it...very moody
Very Very earie, gave me chills.
Any signs of Derek Acorah?
thanks again for the c&c's really appreciated....Derek Acorah? there were a few fluffy animals with long tails in there dont know about Ghosties

thanks for shortlisting Dave, thats a bit spesh
I think you were very brave to do that on location at night. It's a good job you weren't found you could have have frightened someone to death.
I scared myself to death Penny....something made a nest in my jumper which I left on the floor to do the pose....
Yep , deffo , the location technique and result , super image and moodiness aplenty. !
Thanks Dave..... for your precious User Award .....
You more than welcome Di , this is one of the best feeling ideas ive seen , with the kids leaving an all. Deep and true. Well done
Wow,a powerful image.Excellent creative way of expressing the emotion within you.
Diana - you're braver than me, that's quite something you've achieved here, freaked me out a bit but then I guess that's exactly what it was supposed to do - thought provoking anyway!
Creepy and excellent
The styling really shows that you work with deep and dark secrets...
I think I might have cropped a bit in on the right - while the "Rule of Thirds" is not actually a rule, it's often a good guide. But the composition as it stands definitely adds to the uneasy feeling (so perhaps the Rule is irrelevant in this context!)
a great imaginative shot
Thanks for the extra comments .. John I wanted it central as it lines up with the corner of the barn, it all goes in to a V shape which I am trapped in, emulating the tense and tight part of my life that I am unable to escape from ....
have I ruined it now that I have put words to an image ?
thanks Ollie, Sarah, John and Rende too
Very nicely executed, planned and 10/10 for the effort put into it.. Love It.
another award? wow thanks so much SMILER really appreciated
