Good morning Bill, this is great, superb tones and textures, it works really well in B&W, cracking image.
Hugh
I should have said before - this is the first in a series of three ![]()
A good spot Bill, fine study of texture and toning.
Tom.
Great image Bill, like a mosaic! This works well in B&W, but I am wondering what a coloured version would be like.
Carol
A very fine well observed composition but I do wonder if it really works better in mono than it does in colour.
Albert
Colour version now added, with slight differences due to my having to re-process the original file 'by eye', as it were ![]()
like the colour version... a bit of burning in would lift the mono
Oh yes! I like the coloured version, as the colours are not too bright, nice and muted. Thanks for doing that Bill!
Carol
Thanks for taking up my suggestion Bill. IMO the addition of colour adds some vibrancy to the image which is an improvement.
Albert
Mono version for me Bill, like the tones and textures in these.
Regards Richard.
Bits peeling in all directions.,...lovely! Nice shapes and tones. Well spotted and composed.
Barbara
Well seen and taken. I think I will go with the mono version.
Ty
On the fence with this one Bill.Unlike me,I can't decide which one I prefer !! Just super tones in the mono, which is the cause of my ''indecision''.Unless it is just an ''old age thing'' !!
Two good ones.
Mick.
love this.....esp the mono version!!!
have my UA Bill

Like the color--- an interesting form of grafitti!
Jennnn
The mono is more graphic which suits the subject and the colour is peely wally anyway so I'm for mono.
As soon a s a blank wall like this appears it's amagnet for illegal flyposters. They used to crack down on them in Glasgow, but I think the flyposters won.

Aha, I wondered where Bill Posters had gone! V2 for me,such soft colours....B
The mono version seems to have more presence, clout even. Mind, I'd love to climb over . . .
Two excellent images Bill, the mono version for me this time
Prefer the original, as the colours are subdued and add to the all over impression,
Johanna
