Hi,
One from last week.
As the day drew to a close this young stag stood up to see what was happening around him, no doubt with a view of moving in on any unattended hinds in the vicinity.

Backlighting to perfection in my eyes. I love the way we have the rim light around the body, and the subtle monochrome hue. The breath is perfect in the frame and the overall feel is exquisite. I never thought I'd say I wanted a picture of a deer on the wall, but if I did it would be this one.
Fabulous lighting! Beautiful coloured atmosphere, nice looking buck, and the mist coming out of his nose is the icing on the cake. Certainly deserving of POTW.
