Early this morning my neighbour phoned and said there was 7 bald eagles down on the beach. So off I went hoping they would still be there in the next few minutes. Some were and some were up in the trees. Here is some of the shots I got. In between keeping my eye on Daisy cause she likes to chase them.

FANTASTIC Sandy!!! How lucky are you!! You have a good neighbour. These are well captured and composed shots, the detail is superb. V2 looks as though he has an attitude, perhaps Daisy chased him in that tree Grin. Excellently presented Smile

A great set, Sandy. I do like them all but V 2 is particularly appealing to me, as is V 4 with the catch secured in its claws.

Outstanding A+ set of wonderful captures of the majestic Bald Eagle with superb color & clarity. I particularly like V1 & V4. Great work with the XSi, Sandy. Well done, & I'm sort of envious of your great photo-op, in the great Northwest. Ciao...Peter

Very impressive set indeed. Love the composition of V3 with so many in-slight, V4 with carrying the catch and the profile in V3. You must be delighted to have had such a chance to capture these great shots and we all owe a "Thank You" to your neighbour!
