Good colours.
The whole thing is a bit flat, hence glazzaro's comments so it needs a boost to the contrast. It's lacking in f/g detail so nothing leads you into the shot. You tend to look at it as whole and nothing really retains your interest.
I would have pulled back and shown something close to you. It's a bit cliched but rocks, bushes, a gate, something like that would give the whole thing some depth.
I assume that you took this around lunchtime with the sun fairly high and when the light is very harsh and not the best. Try it earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon when the light is kinder.
It wouldn't take much to make this a cracking shot.
If you want people to look at your shot you need to comment on theirs. There are so many uploading on the site that your shot does not stay on the front page of the gallery for very long and most people don't have the time to trawl back throught he pages.
If your voting for a member (you can tell as you will in the majority of cases have the option to view a larger version, or the details on the RHS will tell you) thye will know who has voted for them and can click on your name to look at your PF. If you vote for a non member they do not know who's voted , only how many, unless you leave a comment.
As you neither voted nor commented on my PF I didn't know you'd looked at it until you e-mailed me.

Hope you don't find that too harsh but you did ask.
Malcolm
