From a trip to Northumberland last year.
Went to the beach for sunrise and as the tide had just gone out was rewarded with these patterns and Lighting as the sun came up.

Excellent use of the f/g patterns and textures, with the dunes as backstop. Nice diagonal lines formed in the sand. Sounds a bit early in the morning for me!

Good shot making full use of all the rolling detail. People tend to get so fixated with the castle that they ignore everything else the landscape has to offer.
Polanski filmed the three witches for Macbeth here, see the dunes in the right light and you can understand why.
