A classic Ange. Love the texture in the foreground rock.

Fine composition, that f/g boulder balancing well with the mass of the Castle: and although the horizon is on the half way line, it seems to work well because of that mass of heavy cloud bearing down.
Ronnie.

Superb image Ange, unlike Ronnie though I am not sure about the boulder in the fg, I think there is enough interest there without it as I find it a little distracting, but that is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent image.

Excellent work. I particularly like the clarity of the castle and the moody sky.

I cannot make up my mind about the boulder!

The boulder has a pleasing shape and detail and certainly adds depth. Because the castle is positioned to the right, the boulder does provide balance. However, I do find that my eye keeps being drawn back to the boulder whereas if it were not there, the castle and sky would retain my attention. But does this matter?

Either way I am sure that this image would make a very fine print.

Really appealing shot this, Ange.
Alun

Great depth to this shot with foreground detail, balanced compostion and a moody sky.
The one thing I don't like is the foot prints in the foreground but never the less, nice work.

What a fantastic scene especially with those threatening clouds! The detail on that rock in front is ammmaaazing, by the way.

Beautifully composed and presented too Smile
