Good morning,
Got this shot while visiting a friend yesterday afternoon. I always take my camera with me just in case something
crops up. As we were down by the river dragonflies etc are always likely, as was the case.
What was a first was catching one of these with prey. In fact it was a complete accident, I was shooting this particular individual when it darted off for a second and came back with this Mayfly and promptly ate it in front of the lens.
I would like to say thank you to all of you who voted and commented on my previous upload, it's the first time one of my efforts has exceeded 50. And thanks to pluckyfilly for her personal award.
Thanks for looking

Very nicely captured. Testament to why you should always take your camera with you.
A brilliant image that adds evidence to my theory that really good photographs are the result of 10% skill and 90% luck.
A terrific natural history image, that looks like a filling meal for this male banded demoiselle
