EFFECT CAN ONLY BE SEEN LARGE
The experiment with scale and depth of field continues. Shot from the top of Liverpool Anglican Catheadral with camera over my head. Using a very long lens at f/2.8. (200mm+1.4TeleII+1.3 x Sensor). Then added photoshop process to make it look like a toy. The graffitti is apparently Banksy.

Drop me a mail and I'll send you instructions how to do this. Works with any camera trick is to shoot from above also looks better that way.

Did some stuff like this by adding blur layer and erazing through, if you then turn the opacity up stuff jumps off the page almost 3 D like, nice one .

Pooch.

Using a simmilar technique but using quickmasks with gradients prior to sharpening. That and climbing up stuff and using low DOF anyway to make the digital trick easier.

this is a top image Dave, great effect, excellently used, and what a cracking image to start with anyway.

10/10 old boy.

This is great. The 'Barbieri' look is generally a bit of a tired gimmick these days, but the graffiti soemhow lifts this one.

Maybe the mouse the size of a house combined with making a house look the size of a mouse that works?

Nice use of the effect to concentrate on the main subject. The giant rat adds to the scale illusion.
