A male Chalkhill Blue Lysandra coridon, taken earlier today at Barnack.

The numbers had certainly dwindled since last weekend.

You always manage to achieve such exquisite detail, Adrian, and manage to set the subject against a uniform b/g that shows it off to perfection.

Another top shot Adie, you've captured its colours and wing markings in such intricate detail. It was good to see these around in good numbers on Crickley Hill on Thursday.

Another cracking shot Adrian.

Also had another bash at these at one of my local sites today. As the wind was too strong for a distant trip for Brown Hairstreaks I popped in on another much earlier site where these began emerging a couple of weeks back and was amazed to still see good numbers of newly emerged males and lots of fresh emerged females being mobbed by the males.
