Sunlight and shadows from a metal fence around a scrap yard, with a fine mesh or net put up to prevent the spead of dust onto the roadway, presumably.
Another excellent and very different image.
Just brilliant to see this in a net and a metal-fence! You got the eye..!
makes a fascinating abstract - well spotted and caught
Terrific abstract Eric, brilliantly spotted and captured. Superb.
Wow! not easy to capture screen and make it interesting!
Good work! Jennnnnnnnn
I like the shapes and patterns in this one Eric and the texture from the net makes it even more unusual!
had to be yours Eric.......an excellent abstract image
very well done!
Thanks for the comment Eric. This is superb mate!
Wonderful abstract, excellent image.
Good strong abstract. Nick.
Quote: Sunlight and shadows from a metal fence around a scrap yard,
. . .if you had not descibed this . . how many of us would have guessed? LOL . . .
. .the attraction of a good abstract I suppose !
Thanks Derek, Ken, Tommy, Skye, Malcolm, Jen, Sez, Ollie, Joe, Steve and Nick, good to hear from you all.
Brilliant pattern. I'm glad you told us what it was.
Eric, this almost looks like a block of flats. I particularly like the muted colours.
EDIT: This was a repeated comment. It seems to be happening to me a lot but I don't know why. Sorry!
Thanks Phil and Bev, that's ok Bev, two comments are better than one.
This is a brilliant image. There are so many good repeats but still enough variation to keep the whole thing interesting.
One of your best.
A cracking abstract - from the thumbnail, I expected it to be balconies on a high rise building (just goes to show how the eyes can deceive Great vision to see a photo in this subject. Bruce
Great shapes and repeating patterns!
As per others, I thought it was a block of flats Eric. I have looked at it for some time, but still can't work out what I am looking at. Well seen patterns and textures (whatever they are!).
Crikey Eric, you never cease to amaze me. Not just with the fabulous images but the way in which you spot the potential. Excellent work Eric. click!!
Eric, you have the eye, and never fail to surprise and impress. The netting really makes this by adding and extra layer of texture - lovely job
Thanks Eric, Bruce, Stan, Nigel, Keith and Stephen, good to hear from you all.
like an abstracted tartan, great spot!
Another amazing artistic abstract!
Eric, it is so abstract that the description does not help much, so a compliment; really a great image!! alfred
Thanks Nicholas, Dawn and Alfred, good to hear from you all.
When I first saw it I thought it was a block of flats with balconies
Like the abstract type of shot, I don't seem to have the 'eye' to spot things like this.
I was sure this was a building!
You have a great way of looking at things.
Thanks Adrian, Mick and Bill, good to hear from you all. Now all I need to do is take a picture of a block of flats and make it look like a fence.
Wow, love the pattern and design, nice work! Spot on! Click!!!
Thank you Greg, good to hear from you.
That is so unusual, so abstract, you can certainly find an interesting shot where others would just pass by.
Thank you Pamela, I've noticed such things since I was a child.
Great abstact pattern erric. well spotted and well composed. andy
Thanks Andy and Keith, good to hear from you both.
