Just popped to Gt Yarmouth for a walk on the beach and took this pic of Baxter our Bulldog.

I thought I'd try some different angles of the old boy and I think it worked well.

Please tell me what you think.

I like this as a portrait - real character. I've had a go at a modification too - my first!

Looking again......maybe you could clone out the black speck in top left corner (dust/bird?)

I like Neil's gritty version. I'd guess the speck in the top left is a gull. Living in the same area their more of a problem than dust on the sensor - seagulls on the sensor are a real blight!

This is a superb portrait taken at a great angle. That is one mean, ruffty-tuffty look he's giving there.

The gritty mod by neil0968 is very fitting too.

I like the fact that you got down to his level. That face just oozes character, and I like the angle of the shot. Well done!

What a great dog.
I like the low angle, but it would be better with a more interesting sky.

Bang in the centre was absolutely the right way to go for this one.. Masses of character! Like Neil's version, too.
