My parting shot from the three sisters yesterday. I felt very relaxed, even in the wind, there is somthing very special about Glen Coe and the surounding area. I felt very small and humble of the landscape that streched out before me. Im sure in time to come I will spend many a great and inspiring day there. It was a strange feeling to watch the light spread across the landscape, it all happened within seconds, and then gone, it came right over me and lit up the rock in f/g..................

Thanks again for all the great comments yesterday.........hope you enjoy this as much as I do....

Paul.

Excellent again Paul, really strong composition and wonderful light... I perhaps would have got rid of that long bit of grass in front of the rock as its a little distracting, but a wonderful image nonetheless (you should enter it in the "lighting" competition...)

You had the patience to wait for the right moment and the result is worth it. There are similar plateaus here in BC and short stays there are magic. TG

"What a difference a blade of grass makes?" A stunningly beautifully illuminated scene, which instantly demands ones attention from the off, a vision of true highland beautify, and one which has been superbly composed, crafted, processed and presented. A true testament of your photographic skill and technique.

A different view of a place close to my heart Paul, Glencoe, Excellent composition with the low viewpoint adding depth to this this image, you have walked around this area looking for the perfect composition and then waited for the lighting to change before releasing the shutter," the mark of a true landscape photographer" Perfectly executed in all aspects, one to be very proud of. Very well done my friend, Bill.

A wonderful landscape of Glen Coe again and so glad the light
was kind to you. I love it's golden glow raking across the land's undulations.
I would remove the prominent white stem in front of f/g rock.
It does tend to distract a bit.

When the wind blows the clouds around, the light dances across the hillsides and paints a picture that changes in seconds, that's Scotland in the wind, that split second will live in your head for a long time and remind you how wonderful life is, especially in Scotland and Glencoe.

It is a landscape that is always changing with the prevailing weather and light: at this time of year the warmer tones predominate.
Another very well composed scene and you attention to detail in manifest in V 2 where you have cloned out the bright stalk in front of the boulder.
Superb work, Paul.
