Like your comp and good tones in this fine capture Al
Super image great comp and colour!
Excellent !! I like this one Alan. Great use of the ice as an effective curved lead in, clouds opening up nicely to frame the sun and good colour sets the scene. However i........(just teasing)
Great texture and details in f/g
Gone for the darker, richer purple tones here, Al. A small but.... is the image missing a focus of attention? My vision travels around but doesn't seem to settle.
Thanks Geoff, Richard, Bill, Trevor, Effrossini and Dave

Yeah, i think you are right Dave. I thought that when I was shooting and agian when processing, Thought about photoshopping something into the water (like Nessie!) but that would be cheating so instead I threw it to the wolves to see what you all made of it!
Beautiful shot !!!....love the way the f/g ice is catching the light !!!
Beautiful colour and light, quality work.
Everything about this image is right.... stunning!
You've certainly made very good use of the cracked ice in the foreground to create a lovely lead-in here. Warm light, very appealing.
Another beauty, works really well,I think anything more would complicate
I like this very much Al, at first I thought it out of balance with contrasting sky colour and Ice, but the more I look at it the more it works. Excellent composition, exposure and presentation matey.
My goodness, Al - you do some walking to get these exquisite images!
Thank you Russell, Anne, Jeremy, Mark and ****. Kind comments and useful to have your thoughts with the focal point issue.
Lovely image love the light on the ice
