Hands Up..... I am not that brave !
Zoom lens set at a focal length 210mm and cropped a bit off the bottom to make the cliff top edge look closer.
Only a week ago somebody, by accident, stepped off the edge of the path at the nearby Belle Tout Lighthouse
Trinity House, the organisation responsible for lighthouses proposed, as a cost cutting measure, to stop painting the red & white strips.
There was quite an adverse reaction and I understand funding has now been obtained from various sources in order to continue with the colour scheme for the foreseeable future
It is not that easy from the cliff top to convey scale, much better from sea level, BUT you have to set out from Cow Gap just after High Tide and ENSURE plenty of time to get back to safety before you get cut-off / stranded by the incoming tide.
The cliff top from this viewpoint is about 328 feet above sea level and the lighthouse itself is 141 feet tall
