This was taken on Friday night at Moss Eccles Tarn which is just a short walk from Near Sawrey. It was here that Beatrix Potter spent many an hour fishing from a rowing boat (which is now in the Windermere Steamboat Museam).

Hope it is not too dark, the picture looked fine on my monitor but now on my laptop it seems dark.

Hope you like it.

As ever, comments and critique welcome.

Darren.

A lovely scene. I like the reeds and the lilypads in the foreground.
