I spotted a few baby shield bugs recently, hiding in the seed-heads of wild sage. Most of them looked like replicas of their parents, but a few I spotted were like litte fluff-balls Smile This fella was tiny, about half the size of my little finger nail, so I was lucky to see him, let alone capture him on camera.

fabulous set yet again
cant believe how tiny they are
so the hair leaves as they grow older ... how interesting

superb capture. love that you got the light behind them showing their transparency and highlighting the fine hairs. just great composition / positioning.
