There are less and less bugs and beasties to be found as winter approaches, but there are still a number of spiders lurking, this beautiful critter was in my garden yesterday, relaxing in the warm sun.

The detail here is quite impressive, Carol, and like Sandy I find the head on approach in V 2 to be so good: not sure I'd go along with your own adjectival description though......'beautiful' critter.......hmmmm!Wink

Excellent close ups.

Hi Carol, I do agree with Ronnie, it is difficult to reach to an conclution that which one is good, I liked both the images. the details in the images are superb, really stunning image..
