Another photo I took the other day whilst visiting a friend, the garden was full of birds and this was one of the beautiful Starlings that came to feed.

Well captured. Not everyone's favourite feeder visitor as they can be real bullies but their colours are beautiful.

Beautiful shot of a much maligned bird - I must say I prefer them to MagpiesSmile And the plumage of the young fledglings is just as interesting. A couple of years ago I had the privelege of about 30 babies lined up on my fence with parents feeding in my apple tree - great racket and fun to see but did not have camera sadly.
