Taken in Jaipur of a disabled beggar that we met and who wanted his photo taken. The man was interesting to talk to and it was a sobering and educational experience.

Such pleading eyes, never seen intense eyes like this before!
Very good cropped in portrait, There is nothing I would change in this...a perfectly captured image from the street...

Great shot and portrait - for me it does not relay the real situation of the person and reflects nothing of the hardship and situation.

On face value it is really good - but the title says I need to see more - Andy

superb! I really like the composition, going in tight and has given the image so much impact.

I'm glad you took it in mono as I think the impact is greater. Well done. Sue

It is a valid point and politely put!

I do have other more in context images, but this one was all about the expression and the eyes. I wanted to show just the man and not his situation. Let the viewer see past the poverty.

I disagree, if I'm honest Smile I think this is a fantastic shot, and even without the title shows great sorrow in those eyes, which by the way are truly fantastic. I think you've captured a very intense shot here, and it's just haunting.
