...taken this morning and reflected in Loch Achray in the Trossachs area of Scotland.

Many thanks to Moira (mrswoolybill) for her timely alert to the dust bunnies on the previous upload.

Glad you weren't offended! This was worth the extra effort, it's a delightful image, full of tapestry-like textures.

Beautiful tones throughout and the shifting light is wonderful. Enjoy the trip up north and hope you're blessed with weather and light like this.

Ian.

A few minutes like this each day would be enough for me Ian.

I wish my Canon weighed in at the same as your Olympus though.

Lovely assortment of colours in those trees. Fall is definitey upon you. Thanks for your comment, and yes, I've had a few birds hit my window and will have to do something to prevent this.........Sandy

Sublime reflections with just a slight shimmer of movement on the water. DArkening skies always seem to bring out the best in directional light on foliage.

The Trossachs is hard to beat when you get light and colours like this, Dougie: by the time we reached L. Lomond today, the cloud cover was increasing, but the light was, shall we say, interesting.
Often the light though is best in the forenoon.
A superb shot, the colours and reflections so well recorded.
Ronnie.

The clarity in the reflections is amazing Dougie! I love the yellow of the trees against that grey sky.
No pay-back sexist remarks to be had here.... Smile

What a great light on those beautiful and multi-coloured trees. Super capture, proving well why you love autumn so much!
