...took several days and several visits to figure when the sun hit this mountain, the interesting side faces north west, it was about 4pm at this time of day that got interesting.

Lovely light on the hill giving good modelling and as Chris says, texture too. The islands help your eye hop across the water to the focal point of the mountain.

As far as I can find out it was Ben Tongue a much smaller and lesser mountain than Ben Loyal.
