Another of my daughter taken on holiday in Cornwall... just redone this one with a little frame, I think it's a nice natural shot of her.

Thanks for looking, and thanks to those who left comments/advice on previous pics.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend Smile

Very nice photo. I like the DOF. Beth has a great career as a photo model ahead of her if she wants it.

Delightfully natural and un-affected. The tones are simply superb.
Purist portraitists will doubtless insist that the composition is 'wrong' as Beth is placed in the centre of the frame with lots of 'dead' space to each side and above, as in naīve art. Ideally I would crop about one-seventh of the image off the left and slightly less proportionally from the top so that Beth's right eye falls roughly one-third of the way into the frame (reading from left to right) and one-third of the way down. That would leave her 'looking into the picture' - I wouldn't crop the right.
You might consider putting photos up for modification occasionally - people might find it easier to demonstrate the composition rather than describing it! But I wouldn't want to spoil the careful border you have added with my ham-fisted photoshopping!
Kind regards
Bill

A real beauty, both the image and the subject. So natural in every respect. I would only suggest a very small amount of additional sharpening

A wonderful portrait of a beautiful daughter, that hair catches the eye and then Beth's eyes.A prettier young lady is hard to imagine, and with some hint of the character beneath the hair. You can Bring n shots of Beth any time you like. She's a bonnie Lass to be well proud of.
