I had a feeling from the thumbnail that these were not what they seemed! Composition-wise it's between V1 & V2, but I definitely want that blue sky, so V1 for me.
They're a great subject, thanks for the map location. If ever I am visiting Livingston Industrial Estate...

They are pretty dramatic already! V1 and V3 are the clearest but the treatment of V2 stands out in my eyes. Hoping that the 'some day' comes soon, perhaps you could try a slight twitch to the right, to include the tip of the rightmost head and remove the vestigial grass bottom left?
Stunning images nonetheless; I'm envious!

Thanks folks.

Moira - not an industrial estate ............ Dobbies Garden Centre
Bill - I couldn't see a damned thing on the screen because of the (all to rare) sun. I will use the SLR next time
