Still trying to find "Different" Airshow shots.

This one was taken right at the end of the display.

Red#10 had given us lots of information over the Tannoy about the pilots, their flights and their family connections, and this pilot was flying in his last display, as they're only allowed two seasons (or something like that) and he wanted to have his final farewell. All the other Reds had disappeared by now Smile

Liked the smoke, the sky and the ickle weeny plane, so I decided the pano format might suit well, see what you think!

Have a good evening, halfway through the week nearly - - looking forward to a quiet weekend (perhaps!) Wink

Thanks for calling by, comments welcome as always Smile

Cheers!
Fran x

A wonderful shot that is different from the normal Red Arrows photos. The composition makes it almost surreal.

This is different and strong! I can almost hear the aircraft as it curls through the sky... It's great Fran.

It was just the icing on the cake for me, Mike, on Saturday, they just all disappeared over the horizon, but on Sunday, as the rest of them faded into the distance, he gave us all an extra 50 penneth worth - - low passes and HUGE smoke trails - - perfect way to finish it all!

Thanks

Yes, I like this one, it looks good in this format. Seems good to have a final finale, often with the Arrows you don't quite know if it is over if you can't hear the commentary.

I bet it was interesting listening to the Red #10 over the tannoy. The crop works well with the way the red smoke arcs round, the red is nice and vibrant too

A nice shot Fran, suits the crop well. Kai's got almost the identical shot that he wants to put up but as you say I think everyone's tired of them now.

I think it would have looked better with blue smoke but I suppose you've got to go with what you're given. Wink

Good thought to crop like this Fran, a larger image would probably have swamped the plane too much.

Another one I could see on the wall Fran, I really like the simplicity of it being one plane and one trail. Works well in this crop too.
