Think some people might say there is too much water here, but I thought there was enough interest in it with the reflections of the clouds and I wanted to have the boat positioned where it is in the frame.
What do you think?

Guy,

Dont agree about too much foreground. I think that your choice to add this much foreground in this shot works fine. I love the way that it draws you through the shot. Like it loads mate.

Love your capture, I was completely drawn in as I followed the reflections to the boat and mountains....**click

I think this is a great shot, has a very relaxing mood to it, and lovely tones. Nice one! Click!

I've tried viewing this with part of the foreground screened off and it just doesn't look the same at all...It works well IMHO

Do you not think that the frame at the top is too close to the montain? I like the water but IMHO it needs just a liitle more room at the top.

Well composed shot with wonderful light and colours. (I don't think there is too much water).
