I know the feeling but the weathers no helpin
Blimey Ron, this brings back some memories.
Aye Bren ye wurnae a Biker wurye
Rod (note the name lol)
Indeed I was Rod (sorry 'bout that!)
I started riding bikes when I was sixteen; you could ride 'proper' ones as a learner in those days, not that I was a learner for very long.
By the time I was eighteen I was racing the things most weekends and getting drunk with my likeminded mates on the weekends when I wasn't!
I was that keen on bikes that I've never learnt to (legally) drive a car.
I rode bikes until about twenty years ago when marriage and all that goes with it put and end to it.
That and sixteen points on my licence.
ha ha nice one Bren ye didnae hae the big beard surely ??????
. . . well, yes. Although not as big as this guy's!
I also had chest length hair and if we were going somewhere special, a party perhaps, my girlfriend used to weave a narrow plait down each side of my face; think 'Blackbeard the pirate.'
These were eventually dyed blond, then various colours!
That was about 1974. At the time, I looked quite normal.
A real cracking shot. Free spirits
Sounds pretty cool Bren and they say the seventies was the decade that fashion forgot lol disnae soond like it tae me
I always get a smile on your portfolio Rod, and this chap well in mono it's Brilliant! to put it mildly, I think a lot of your shots are wildly under rated, it seams to be a strange fact of life for some!, perhaps one day< fingers crossed mate good luck, regards Leon.
