Yellowstone in winter, a time of survival for all the wildlife. Here 3 Bison walk the road ( freshly ploughed as else where the snow is 3 ft deep !) It makes an image more exciting when it is snowing too !!! -15 and cold !!!

Reminds me of a scene from a film I enjoyed a few times, "Dances with wolves" the Native Americans got a rough deal from the settlers from all over the world and I don't just mean the people either.

Very atmospheric image. To think these animals were a main source of food and clothing to make survival possible through weather like this. Great image Ron.

Bit of a Mexican stand-off in the road I should imagine! Like the snow flakes, captures the coldness so well.

Minus 15 F, right?!?! I went to work 5 weeks in row at that temperature! When I lived in Kansas, Montana is another story...Miss it, believe me.
Splendid shot of a magnificent animal.
