This is one of the Bellmouth spillway shafts on the ladybower dam. The overflow water from the ladybower resovouir flows down and through the Bellmouth shafts into the river Derwent and onwards to the the river trent.
I believe they are 85 Feet wide, but not sure how far down the water plummets.
Could probably have done with a wide angle.
