It couldn't be anywhere else - a wonderful landscape Dougie and it looks very much like a loch which Christopher loves to fish nearby the crofthouse. I see from a comment on Bill's image that you're back up to the Highlands at the weekend. Fingers crossed for some lovely light and good weather!

High pressure showing on the Xc site, so fingers crossed for some decent light, Liathach is outside my bedroom window, the Loch is 40 feet away. Maybe some reflections with the high pressure, time will tell Ann, Thanks for your kind thoughts.

A considered composition and a well balanced exposure Dougie.

My grandchildren were up in Scotland a week ago, I could have told them to drop by
I know my grandson initially was there for the wedding of family and after the event he sat relaxing by Loh Lomond - not the lock you posted today but I thought you might find this bit of useless info interesting
Iain (grandson) was born in Benbecula Outer Hebrides and always has considered himself to be Scottish
- I digress - looks like a good breeze on the water with the ripples Dougie I like the Heather in the foreground and that cracking sky, superb shot
black lochan and purple heather - a beauty!
