Couldn't decide on a black b/g or a white b/g so decided to let you chooseSmile Lisianthus just starting to unfurl its petals. Taken today 'inside' using card for b/g and natural light through the window. Cropped using picnik and a collage frame using picasa. I have done a short series of this flower. Hope you like it. Wink

Thank you for your votes and comments on Kingfisher and for your time. Much appreciated. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.Smile
Take care, PaulineSmile

Lovely, don't know which one I prefer Pauline. Both equally good. Like the colours in them.
Well that is bathroom finished - well apart from a few minor bits and pieces. Now the great clean up has started. Would have got further with it this afternoon had my hubby not decided to take 3 damn hours to put on a new handle on the door!!!!!! This entailed him taking the thing off it's hinges again,Sad. How is your work coming on? Moira

Hi Pauline, both backgrounds work and I like the way you have done this side by side presentation.
Joan.

Thanks, Shell, Alvar, Len, Moira and Isabel and others who have visited. Much appreciated.
Moira, thanks for asking. My work is ongoing, shower room and utility 1/2 way done, tiles off kitchen walls, ready for the main wall to be demolished. Will be without oven and hob mid weekSad The dust is everywhereSad Never mind will be worth it in the endGrin Glad to hear yours is 'nearly' there.

Evening Pauline, what gorgeous images, I love them both, with a slight preference for the blk BG, wonderful colour and excellent detail.

The Lisianthus looks good with either background, Pauline, so I would not like to suggest one is better than the other.

two lovely shots Pauline, the black shows off the flower to its fullest cause it is highly defined by the total contrast, the white is more delicate and subtle with the colour almost blending in places. You pays your money and you takes your choice. Both pretty.

Pauline, your capture is beautiful, delicate, elegant artistic presentation.
Its like you and me. I am the erect one, you are the white with pinkish blush Smile
Paying great attention to detail. I wonder what it would be like having afternoon tea with you Wink
I went to see "The Kings Speech" and I found myself thinking of you and your english accent Smile
Great movie excellent writing and acting should get a few oscars.
