In the Masai mara huge areas of the savannah are burnt in a controlled manner to help with fire prevention. We found this rare black Rhino passing by on the edge of a burnt patch of grass.

This is an excellent image of this highly endangered animal !! In our newspapers last week was a report that they have now been hunted to extinction in Mozambique SadSad
