Here are a few pictures taken last week of a beautiful Black Swan at Whitlingham Broad, Norfolk. It is a couple of years since I've seen Black Swans on the Broad.

What a superb series Ruth, exposed perfectly so that we get all the wonderful feather textures. Lucky you to see such a rare beauty and to have it cooperate so willingly with the portrait session.

I rather like V1 & V2 as favourites, but do like the 'family' shot in V6 ![]()

V2 is the stand out shot in this fine set, closely followed by v6 where you've got the family of Egyptian geese in on the act
Must be about 4-5 years since i last saw a black swan, wonderful collection of images Ruth. They all look superb but i have a particular fondness for V4.
