Sorry not to have been around for a while.

Here are a few pictures taken last week of a beautiful Black Swan at Whitlingham Broad, Norfolk. It is a couple of years since I've seen Black Swans on the Broad.

Hope you are all well and enjoying Easter.

Ruth

Hi Ruth, this an excellent set with V2, the head on shot being my favourite. Excellent detail and colour. I can't believe I have never seen a black swan except in photographs.

What a superb series Ruth, exposed perfectly so that we get all the wonderful feather textures. Lucky you to see such a rare beauty and to have it cooperate so willingly with the portrait session.

Nice to see you uploading again, Ruth Wink And a wonderful set too, beautifully captured Smile I rather like V1 & V2 as favourites, but do like the 'family' shot in V6 Wink

The black swan is a beautiful bird and with that plumage not the easiest to record but you have a fine set of it here, and of the group, V 2 is my favourite.Ronnie.

V2 is the stand out shot in this fine set, closely followed by v6 where you've got the family of Egyptian geese in on the act
