A wonderful image with that trail of water behind him - interesting as we've been seeing some images of black swans from Australia and south Africa.

What a wonderful image of this adorable cygnet, Ed. When we lived in WA we only ever saw black swans, and I use to miss our white ones, so it is great that we get to see both now that we are back ... Carol Grin

I was only saying on my yesterdays upload of black swans
that I have never yet seen a cygnet here. And here you go
with this one. How lovely and downy they are, not like
feathers at all…..Just lovely….GrinGrinGrinGrin

Many thanks for the user award Annette it was a most unexpected surprise and is gretaly appreciated. You can not tell the difference between black and white swans when they are juveniles until they start to gain their proper adult plumage. I have an image of an adolescent black swan somewhere in my portfolio if anyone has time to delve deep into the archives!
