i managed to find my blackrock pics, so i'll have another go at processing the ice on the beach from scratch.
heres one from the same cold january day last year.

Good composition, Lesley, and a lovely sky. v2 works better for the sky but there's more shadow detail on v1.

That's one fantastic sky, Ccat, and I love the detail in the rocks. V1 for me 'cos too much detail is lost in V2, but the sky does look better in V2. I know...some people, eh? Just can't please 'em Smile

V1 for me also - the detail in the rocks is retained in this one. Really like the overall cold tones, punctuated by that warm peach tones in the sky.

Yes, V1 for me and that is after going back and forth a few times Lesley
a great image and it still looks cold even with the colours of the sunset

Excellent image. V1 for me but a 1/3 of the way towards v2 would be ideal perhaps.
