Another couple of images from our Camera Club model night on Monday of last week. Still on the film character theme, this was Blade, modelled by Michael.
Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photoshop Elements 11.
Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.
Very nice work..
V1 I like more..
I think you're enjoying this excursion into another field of photography, Trev Carol
Well taken Trev!
Not something I've ever tried, and interesting to see. I love the glasses and earpiece, they make us imagine what's going on behind. Plus the red against the greys. That's clever styling. But I wonder why he wore that scabbard on the back of his neck, it spoils the lines, drags my eye away from his face, I really want to clone it out! Particularly in V2 where it is proportionally more important.
A real cool dude you've captured here, Trev!
I don't think I would like to argue with him. Great expression
That was to put his sword in, Moira!
Yes I know but why there?? You'd risk decapitating yourself rather than the enemy!
Mean and moody, Trev, but the ear piece does look a bit incongruous. I think I'd prefer the whole sword to be in view, just needs to straighten it slightly but a well exposed and captured image.
Moira.... the scabbard/sword on his back keeps it out of the way when not in use, not dangling around his legs and tripping him up, in the normal position.
No messing with this guy, methinks........looks like a samurai sword peeping up from behind.
Looks to me to be a fine capture of the model, Trev, but I am no authority on this genre (or any other really, come to think of it).
Guess others will be a position to offer a more constructive comment, if such be needed.
Looking good this Trevor, would make a good mono too
Real attitude in his facial expression!! Nice Image!! I like it a lot!!
great colour combination....
Nice work Trev mean and moody
Good styling and lighting too Trev, good to see the CC providing a practical evening
Much as I dislike studio stuff (hate anything contrived) I have to acknowledge that these two are very well captured and processed and so well worth a vote. I don't care for the scabbard much either but I guess it was part of the contrivance to refer it to Blade.
I applaud your ability to change tack
The detail is outstanding the colours work very well indeed, I like v1 best
What two well captured Portrait shots Trev
both as good as the other
Startling colours in a startling posture.
Great shots ..... Great model 😍😍
He looks like a Ninja Turtle with that vest he's wearing Trev
A fine take, you handled the lighting well, very striking with the dark bacground!
