These are the only ones I kept after Wednesdays shoot, as I stated yesterday too much haze, you can see from these shots the views from this vantage point, worth a visit to see for miles in all directions also for those old enough to remember, the horse Foxhunter is buried here there is a monument. Sir Harry llewellyn won a gold medal in the olympic games in the fifties. Llandegfedd Reservoir is near Pontypool and looks up to the Brecon Beacons, sailing scuba diving and fishing are available, also loads of wildlife.

A very nice bit of countryside, nicely captured and presented. Think V4 with the horses has to be my fave Wink

A most attractively compiled set of shots, Trev, with the one with the horses my favourite, closely followed by the landscape in V 5 next.

A grand set Trev with wide open space and a big sky but the horses in V4 grab my attention and click.

An area I know VERY well indeed - having spent most of the last 2 months making trips to the lower part of the Blorenge trying (not very successfully either) to get images of whinchats that come to nest there for the summer.

Good set.

Btw, there is a little secret place (well not so well known) on the Abergavenny side of the mountain called the Punchbowl... a small glacial lake/pond settled in the side of the mountain...now this is a place that deserves a visit at some point. Carry on down the road you have pictued in V2/3 and eventually you will come to a small forest and gate on your left hand side...park up here and the walk to the pond will take abt 10 mins down the path - be warned though it is a bit steep on the way back... couple of shots found on here
