Hi all, hope you are having a good weekend. We have had a hectic one so far, Twistleton yesterday (I can hear the groans!) and the Lakes today.
Left home at 5:30am, and briefly met up with approx 30 other EPZers in the Theatre car park at Keswick, having driven through hail, snow and sleet. It was a tad difficult to make out who everyone was, so if I didn't get to say hello, please forgive me, especially as once I'd got my waterproofs on, my chauffeur was ready for the off, as was nearly everyone else!
Anyway, we wandered over to Castlerigg and caught a couple of folks who'd got lost on their way to the Gormleys 
, where, unfortunately the light wouldn't play ball by hitting the stones, but we did manage a few moody shots with big skies (watch this space).
We (W.A.S.P. and our special guests Yorkshire Terrier and SuperRoo) then had a fab breakfast in Keswick, followed by a trip to Blea Tarn.
We used our patented magicİ and the light played ball for a short while, after which we got caught in a tremendous hailstorm which made the trip back down the narrow road a tad treacherous!
Anyway, this is one when the light was on our side, I hope you like it

... well, I suppose when you've raised them little pound coins in your pocket from fledgling 'ickle penny pieces, it really must hurt you mate to see them leave the comfort of their home

I thought there would be challenging but rewarding conditions today Fran, I was thinking of you all as I was racing over the fells in Sun, hail and wind. Perseverence of days like these can be very satisfying and I reckon you can be satisfied with this one.
