That's a clever and well thought out viewpoint, Keith, as all the natural lines in the f/g, the near water's edge, the boulders in the water, the edge of the reflection and also the far shore all lead the eye round and into the distance and the focal point, Side Pike. The balance of shaded and sunlit areas sits well in the frame.
Never tire of well composed from the Lake District and Blea Tarn in particular and this is a beauty.

Have to say Ronnie nailed it with his summming up. It was the composition that attracted me to this image, with a single point acting as a fulcrum for the curves. A lovely balanced image.
